Saratoga Springs, NY — Little Instigator completed a sweep of the Virginia O’Brien Memorial Pacing Series with a lifetime-best 1:54.3 clocking in the $31,400 final on Tuesday (May 13) at Saratoga Casino Hotel.
The 3-year-old filly rattled off three consecutive victories in the legs of the series, backed at odds of 1-9 on each occasion, and was once again heavily backed by the betting public in the final. Aaron Byron piloted Little Instigator sat the pocket behind dual-leg winner Bobby McGee (Leon Bailey) through a sizzling :55 first half before popping the pocket past three-quarters in 1:23.4 and pacing past the pacesetter to win by three-quarters of a length.

J Glo (Jimmy Devaux) came on to finish second while long shot Cindy’s Faith closed to be third. Bobby McGee faded late to finish fourth.
