Columbus, OH — Lucille A. Wick, 89, of Rome, N.Y., and formerly of Pompano Beach, Fla. and Taberg, N.Y., died Sept. 17, 2024. Several warm-hearted family members visited her bedside during her last hours. She is survived by a large family including a stepdaughter, Susan (Richard) White; step-granddaughters, Michele and Kym Throm; nephews, James (Deborah), David (Missy), and William (Rose); nieces, Anne (Denis) Hartman and Kate (Kenneth) Duell; nieces-in-law, Joan Boardman, Joanne Boardman, and Louanne Densmore; along with 22 grand- and 37 great-grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill, in 2015; stepson, Denis Wick; sister, Evelyn Houston; sister and brother-in-law, A. Frances and Alfred Boardman; nephews, Alfred, Joseph and John Boardman; niece-in-law, Brenda Boardman; grandnieces/nephews, Matilda and Alfred III Boardman; and great-grandnephew, Evan Boardman-Dow.
She loved her many friends, including those from Taberg, Rome, Vernon, Pompano Beach and the Plymouth, Wis., area, and throughout the harness horse racing world. She kept them close to her heart always.
