Dover, DE — Aussie sensation Ludacrous A stormed home to win her third consecutive race in a winners-over pace for fillies and mares at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday night (March 5).
Lulu Rocks rushed to the front early and forced Misty Coast, who left from an outside post, to take a seat in the pocket. Ludacrous A, the 2-5 favorite, was content to settle in six but spotted the field eight lengths approaching the quarter. Lulu Rocks reached the opening quarter in :27.1 over a good track, and she continued on an uncontested lead passing the half in :56.2.
Driver Corey Callahan, who won four races on the card, maneuvered Ludacrous A to the outside but had some work to do, having to make up seven lengths over a speed-favoring surface. Ludacrous A roared down the backstretch first-over in pursuit of Lulu Rocks, who was loose on the lead. Misty Coast enjoyed a pocket ride. Cindy Jo saved ground along the pylons.
Lulu Rocks turned on the afterburners pacing to the three-quarters in 1:23.3, but Ludacrous A continued on a relentless brush and collared Lulu Rocks in deep stretch to win by three-quarters of a length in 1:52.2. Cindy Jo closed up the pylons to finish third.

Dylan Davis trains Ludacrous A, a 6-year-old Art Major mare who paid $2.80 to win, for owner Mike Casalino Jr.
