MADC in action Saturday at The Meadowlands

East Rutherford, NJ — With just two MADC races and ideal racing conditions on Saturday (June 1) night, speed and the front end for the second consecutive night was where you wanted to be in the MADC races.

In the first race on the card, it was an insurmountable lead for Dave Glasser, driving his brother’s horse, Thndrfrmthethron N, who bottomed out the field and still had more left, winning in the end by just over three lengths.  It was Kissinbythebeaches (William Harrison) who ended up second, while In Nevada N (Bruno Chiodo) rounded out the trifecta.  The mile was timed in 1:54.1. The 10-year-old gelding is owned by Neil Glasser out of NJ and is trained by Mike Watson.

In the fifth race, it was much of the same as the first as Newton “Yogi” Sheridan went wire to wire to win by three lengths in 1:51.2.  T Dog (Michael Kimelman) grinder on the outside to finish second while Warrawee Yankee (Mark Silva) rounded out the trifecta.  The 8-year old gelding is owned by Tony Beltrami out of PA and is trained by Travis Alexander.

The MADC races will be back next Friday night at the Big M with a first post scheduled for 6:20 p.m.
