Maine Harness Horsemen’s Association presents Recognition Award to Ronald Ralph

Windsor, ME — On Thursday afternoon (August 30) at the Windsor Fair, the Maine Harness Horsemen’s Association presented a recognition award to former USTA Director Ron Ralph.

In the winner’s circle, from left to right, are Wendy Ireland, Donald Marean, Dr. Tim Powers, Clair Ralph and Ronald Ralph.
Donald Marean, USTA District 9 director and MHHA director, Dr. Tim Powers, USTA District 9 director and president of the MHHA, and Wendy Ireland, MHHA executive director, presented the plaque to Ronald, who was accompanied by his wife, Claire, in the winner’s circle after the sixth race.
Ralph has been involved in the harness racing industry for more than 40 years and served on the USTA District 9 board for close to 25 years.
Last fall, he was inducted into the New England Harness Writers Hall of Fame.
