Saratoga Springs, NY — Robyn Mangiardi, honored last year as Saratoga Casino Hotel’s Horsewoman of the Year, posted a training double at the Spa on Tuesday (Oct. 29) when Useyourlovetonight and Crazy Jet won their respective $8,000 events for young trotters.
Useyourlovetonight, a 4-year-old gelded son of Chapter Seven owned by Mangiardi and driven by Chris Long, took his third consecutive local start when he ground uncovered from off the tempo to post a 2:01.1 victory as the 1-9 favorite.
Crazy Jet, a 3-year-old daughter of Crazy Wow also driven by Long and owned in partnership by Mangiardi with Gary, Patricia and Derek Poirier, kicked off Mangiardi’s double earlier on the card, cruising to a 2:02.2 victory over Demin N Diamonds as the 8-5 second choice.
