East Rutherford, NJ – There is something for everyone this month at the Meadowlands Racetrack. We offer everything from racing and contests to music and basketball, all taking place at the track.
Join us as we celebrate International Women’s Day, sponsored by Clinton Tractor, on Saturday (March 7). Debbie Little and Meadow Twaddle will host the night’s broadcast and be joined by Heather Wilder, who will handle back-paddock interviews. Melissa Keith, the full-time announcer at Rideau Carlton, will be on hand to call the night’s races.
The evening will include sizzle videos and interviews with the industry’s top female trainers, drivers, and grooms, as well as races featuring an all-female driver field. Award-winning photographer Jessica Hallett will be on-site capturing the festivities, while Mary McDermott will handle all social media duties, posting interviews and behind-the-scenes videos.
The Meadowlands Racetrack is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day the weekend of March 13-14 with a delectable Irish-themed buffet. The $54.95 buffet (plus tax & gratuity) is a culinary journey through all the St. Patrick’s Day staples. From Irish soda bread to Irish beef stew, corned beef brisket to traditional shepherd’s pie, and more, it’s a feast for the senses. The evening culminates with sweet treats of Guinness chocolate cake and Bailey’s Irish cream cheesecake.
Get your dancing shoes on, Elvis is coming to the track on Saturday, March 14. Guests will be taken on a thrilling musical tour of Elvis’ career during this fast-paced three-act show. The ideal spot to watch the college basketball tournament, which kicks off Tuesday, March 17, and runs through Monday, April 6, is America’s number one sports book, FanDuel, in the Meadowlands Racetrack. The Meadowlands Racetrack monthly handicapping contest schedule continues on Saturday, March 21. There is no entry fee (a $100 live money bankroll is required) for players, and the prize pool, guaranteed at $1,000 and funded by the track, will be paid out to the top four finishers.
