While Blue Ivy was speeding to the top, Marloe Hanover dropped in fourth from post eight. When Dave Palone tipped her off the cones and asked her for pace, the 6-year-old millionaire gobbled up Blue Ivy and held off the late charge of Kat, downing her by a head in 1:52.4. The pocket-sitting Think Of Galaxies saved show.

Virgil Morgan Jr. trains Marloe Hanover, a daughter of Captaintreacherous-Mesmerize Bluechip who now boasts a bankroll of $1,039,457, for Let It Ride Stables, J L Benson Stables Inc. and Bottom Line Racing.

Elsewhere on Friday’s card, Aaron Merriman moved into sole possession of third place on the all-time North American win list, breaking a tie with Herve Filion, when he scored in race seven with Better B Bold for career victory 15,184. Merriman trails Palone (20,628) and Tony Morgan (17,469).

Palone collected six wins on the 15-race card, including three for trainer Scott Betts, while Ronnie Wrenn Jr. and trainer Ron Burke teamed for four victories.

Live racing at The Meadows resumes Wednesday, first post 12:45 p.m.
