Massachusetts Gaming Bill heads to governor

Marlborough, MA — A gaming bill for Massachusetts is on its way to the governor.

Both the senate and the house have approved the measure and the governor is expected to sign the proposal as soon as today.

The bill calls for three full scale casinos in different parts of the state and one slots parlor.

A license for a casino has has been set at $85 million while a slots license would cost $25 million.

Senate President Therese Murray and House Speaker Robert DeLeo have said repeadly “It’s all about jobs and the state of the economy.”
