Lebanon, OH — Massive Desire kicked off the new year with a victory, taking Tuesday’s (Jan. 13) featured event at Miami Valley Raceway in 1:54.4.
The 4-year-old son of Muscle Massive rebounded from a break in his final start of 2025 to secure his fourth win in his last eight starts.

Starting from post 3, Massive Desire and driver Brett Miller eased off the gate to settle into fourth along the rail. The betting favorite, Hilltop Sonar, led the field through a :27.3 opening quarter and continued to command a strung-out field through a :55.3 half.
As the field moved to the backstretch, Massive Desire launched a first-over bid from six lengths back. He quickly cleared Ketel One Up and briefly tucked back to the rail while closing in on Whiskey Peddler. As Hilltop Sonar passed the three-quarter pole in 1:24.1, Miller moved Massive Desire back to the outside. Finding another gear, Massive Desire drew alongside Whiskey Peddler as they both pursued a tiring Hilltop Sonar turning for home.
Massive Desire continued to grind through the stretch, eventually wearing down the leader to secure a one-length victory. Hilltop Sonar held on for second, while a hard-charging Sure Did finished third.
Driver Chris Page secured three victories on the card, while David Miller and Jeremy Smith each had a double. The victories gave Page a one-win advantage in the early driver standings, 12-11. Anette Lorentzon had a training double.
Live racing returns to Miami Valley on Wednesday (Jan. 14); first post is 4 p.m.
