Columbus, OH — The applications for the 2014 Matching Funds Grant are now available.

For the first time, you can apply online via the Matching Funds Grant webpage at fairs.ustrotting.com/funds.cfm. On that same webpage is also a link to the PDF form that can be printed out and mailed or faxed into the USTA offices. Proposals must be postmarked or submitted online on or before May 15.

Since 2006, the Matching Funds Grant program has helped individual fairs, horsemen’s associations and colt circuits to promote racing at the fair level. Each applicant can apply for up to $1,000 in assistance from the USTA; the applying entity has to contribute an equal amount to what they are applying for, either with cash or by receiving sponsorships or in kind donations.
