Columbus, OH — Meadowlands Racetrack employees are being sent formal notice that they may be laid off in 60 days.

According to a story on www.northjersey.com, workers were given this information at a meeting on Monday (March 7) with New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority management.

Sports Authority spokesman John Samerjan said that the letter was required by federal and state law because of the uncertain fate of the racetrack.
