Washington, PA — Here is this week’s Meadows Monday Memo.

17 QUALIFIERS SET FOR TUESDAY
A total of 17 qualifying races will be held on Tuesday morning (June 18) at The Meadows, starting at 10:30 a.m. Thirteen of the races will be for 2-year-old trotters and pacers. FIRST FRESHMEN MAKE PARI-MUTUEL DEBUT
Wednesday’s card will feature the pari-mutuel debut of Skyline Sanddollar, who has drawn post one in a non-winners of one pace, race three on the card. The filly will be the first freshman to compete in a wagering event at The Meadows this year, and will face a field of 3- and 4-year-old fillies and mares. Dan Altmeyer trains the daughter of Sweet Lou, a $75,000 yearling purchase last fall at Lexington. Hunter Myers is scheduled to drive. Two races later, a full field of eight freshman filly pacers will compete in a 2-year-old filly maiden. Ava’s Remy, a homebred daughter of Papi Rob Hanover’s first crop, is the morning line favorite for the Ron Burke Stable. Ronnie Wrenn Jr. will drive the filly from post six. Thursday afternoon, a full field of trotting fillies will make their first wagering starts in the second race. Seven different sires will be represented in the eight-horse field.
