Washington, PA — The Meadows Racetrack & Casino announced today that, beginning the week of Monday, Nov. 2, it will shift post time to 4:05 p.m. for each live card and add Fridays to its live racing schedule (pending Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission approval).

With the changes, The Meadows will offer live racing each Monday through Friday for the balance of 2009 with the exception of Thanksgiving week and the period from Dec. 24 through the end of the year when the track will be dark to allow horsemen to enjoy the major holidays with their families.

The changes do not affect the simulcast schedule at the track or its satellite facilities.
