Nichols, NY – Driver Mike Merton and trainer Rob Harmon teamed up to get three wins including the featured $16,000 Open Trot with Enola at Tioga Downs on Saturday (July 12).

City Of Hope (John Cummings Jr.) was first to the quarter in :26.2. He controlled things to the half in :55.2. Purple Lord (Jim Pantaleano) were first to challenge heading down the backstretch. City Of Hope was first to three-quarters in 1:24.1.
As they reached the stretch, Enola ($7.10) came with a menacing three-wide move blowing right on by to win in 1:54.2. Sevenshotsobourbon (Tom Merton) made a late bid to get second. Purple Lord had to settle for third.
Enola is 5-year-old mare by Resolve. She is owned by David Litvinsky and Go For Glory Stable while trained by Harmon. It was her second win this season and her 15th career victory.
Merton and Harmon got their other wins with Big Water Stan and Sweet Valley.
Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Sunday (July 13) with a post time of 1 p.m.
