Hazel Park, MI — New drivers, new horses, new opportunity for a win await the fifth amateur series racers at Hazel Park on Monday (June 6).
But watch out. Mark Jones is waiting to strike again from the nine hole with his own Thrill Of Victory.
But new driver and Billings veteran Kelly Walker has other plans, steering Intell On Broadway from the six hole. And new competitor Dennis Dickens has winning on his mind, piloting his own Eng-amer Bella Dew from the two hole.
Season regular Bob Barella will try out a different trotter this week — Keep Your Shirt On out of the eight hole. Jack Pasko is back with S F Fiesta and drew the lucky one hole. Mike Golden will give it a good go with Asti Asti as he leaves from the three hole, followed out by Mike Caston and R M Shy from the four hole and Patricia Miller driving Hay Look Out from the five hole. Driver Jim Ingersoll leaves from the seven hole with his own Starry Lady, rounding out the field of trotters.
The starter will release nine excited drivers and focused, trained, heads up trotters for yet another spirited competition in the Hazel Park amateur series.
