Bloomingburg, OH — Midland Acres has 18 head cataloged in their Blooded Horse Sale consignment slated for Tuesday (Aug. 27), hosted at the Champions Event Center in Springfield, Ohio.
Midland Acres will be offering a wide variety of yearlings by sires representing multiple states including Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Indiana.
Leading the consignment, on the pacing side, is the Buckeye State’s highly anticipated and talked about first crop by Breeders Crown winner Summa Cum Laude. Other pacing sires with offspring in this consignment are Bit Of A Legend N, who to date is the sire of the undefeated Sires Stakes defender Rink Wink, top leading sire Fear The Dragon, the faithful Yankee Cruiser, Racing Hill, and Well Said. Adding to the pacing category is a Kentucky/Pennsylvania eligible Stay Hungry colt and a colt by Indiana sire Capt Midnight, who is the first foal from the Sportswriter mare Twin B Friendly.
For consideration in the trotting market, Midland Acres is offering three Long Tom fillies. The son of Muscle Hill is the sire of 3-year-old trotter Tennessee Tom 3,1:53f ($667,620). Tennessee Tom is the reigning 2023 Ohio 2-year-old trotting colt of the year. Long Tom is also the sire of 2-year-old LT Lover Boy, who is undefeated in Sire Stakes action thus far.
