Moiseyev involved in Woodbine accident

Toronto, ON — Driver Jack Moiseyev and 4-year-old pacing gelding Doc’s Leopard King came away relatively unscathed in a one-horse spill in Monday’s fifth race at Woodbine Racetrack.

The son of Cams Eclipse, who is conditioned by Harry Poulton, was eighth along the rail when the pair suddenly fell before the three-quarter pole, which ejected Moiseyev from the bike.

Moiseyev walked off the track under his own power, but was sent to Milton hospital for further evaluation. He booked off his remaining drive in race six. Doc’s Leopard King also escaped serious injury.
