Monticello, NY – For the last decade the Monticello Harness Horsemen Association (MHHA) has donated to the Federation of the Homeless. On Wednesday (Nov. 12) after the third race, which was a North American Amateur Driving Association (NAADA) contest, the MHHA made their annual donation of $2,500 to the Sullivan County Federation of the Homeless Food Pantry.

On hand for the presentation was Kathy Kreiter, Director of the Sullivan County Federation of the Homeless, Eric Warner, Monticello Raceway Race Secretary, Alan Schwartz, President of the Monticello Harness Horsemen Association and a group of drivers that participated in the race.
Alan Schwartz, the winner of the race and a former Marine said, “The Horsemen’s Association hopes that this really helps some families and others who have fallen on hard times especially during these tough times and we’re glad to help pitch in.”
