Dayton, OH – Trainer Virgil Morgan Jr. and owner Odds On Racing enjoyed a nice evening on Thursday (Oct. 30), when Foxy Hill and Hey Hey Mama swept the $28,000 Open and $24,000 Open II Filly/Mare Paces at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.
In the Open Pace, Fearless Ginger (Chris Page) grabbed the early lead in the field of five and tripped the opening panel in :27.1.

The field raced in single file past the stands for the first time and by the half-mile station in :56.1.
Shadow Dancers (Jeremy Smith) was the first to chase the leader, providing needed cover for Celebrate Me Home (Brett Miller) past three-quarters in 1:25.2.
Despite the easy fractions, the sloppy surface caused Fearless Ginger to tire. Celebrate Me Home went three-wide around the final turn and stuck a head in front in the lane.
Foxy Hill fired off a :28.2 final quarter to secure the half-length victory over Celebrate Me Home in 1:54.1 for her second straight win.
A pocket sitting Odds On Cinamon (Austin Hanners) was able to shake free late to pick up the third-place check.
Morgan Jr. trains the winner for Odds On Racing.
The 4-year-old daughter of Captaintreacherous was the longest shot on the board and returned $12.80 for her backers.
The $24,000 Open II Pace, Hey Hey Mama (Luke Hanners) protected her rail position and was able to control the field of seven and the fractions.
Hey Hey Mama used quarters of :27.1, :56.1 and 1:23.3 to open up a comfortable lead at the top of the stretch.
A :27.2 final panel secured a 1:51 win over the pocket-sitting Beautiful Lather (Jeremy Smith) and Strong Poison (Austin Hanners) by 6-3/4 lengths.
Morgan Jr. shares ownership in the 5-year-old daughter of Downbytheseaside with Odds On Racing. The mare picked up her sixth win on the season.
Dayton Raceway returns to action on Halloween afternoon (Oct. 31) with a 14-race card starting at 4 p.m.
