Mr Cantab to stand in Indiana

Mr Cantab 2,1:56.1; 3,1:53.3 ($139,419) will stand at stud in Indiana in 2011 at Hoosier Standardbred Farm in Montgomery.

Mr Cantab is a son of Cantab Hall 3,1:54 ($1,442,303) out of the Joie De Vie mare Miss Marita, dam of world champion Passionate Glide 2,1:55.4; 3,1:52.2 ($2,060,447), Marita’s Victory 2,1:59.3s; 3,1:54 ($666,731) and Mr Vic 3,Q1:54.2 ($318,942).

Mr Cantab was the highest priced yearling colt sold at auction in 2007 with a price of $350,000 at the Lexington Selected Sale. He was bred by Brittany Farms and trained by Erv Miller. He won six of 12 starts at 2 and 3 and has been a winner twice in 1:54.3f and race timed in 1:53.4f in 2010.

Mr Cantab will stand for an introductory fee of $3,000. He is owned by the Mr Cantab Syndicate and will be managed by Hoosier Hoofprints.
