Gretchen Weerheim, the Harness Racing Museum’s education coordinator, is now taking reservations for Sleighbells and Snowflakes, the museum’s affordable winter program. A timeless tradition in the three-county area, the programs introduce local school children to the wonders of winter life in the 19th century. An opportunity to experience both spectrums of the sport puts students in a one-horse open sleigh to imagine travel in the snow long ago and taking a seat in the Museum’s 3D simulator to experience driving in a harness race today. Teachers, scout and 4-H groups may call Gretchen at 845.294.6330 for program details and reservations.

Don’t forget there is still time to book your holiday party in The Harness Racing Museum’s warm, elegant Haughton Hall. Call Kim Green at 845.294.6330 for details on how you can plan an affair to remember! Limited dates still available.
