Columbus, OH — The USTA has recently welcomed Rick Schrock to serve as the new ID Technician for the state of Illinois.

Rick is based out of Springfield, Illinois and has been involved in several aspects of the harness racing industry for over 20 years. Before starting his own public stable, Schrock worked for trainers Paul Phillips, Tex Moats and Erv Miller. Rick also served as a director for the Illinois Harness Horsemen’s Association for six years.

Schrock will be replacing longtime USTA employee Carl Swanson. Carl worked tirelessly to accommodate all horsemen and women, providing them with nothing but excellent service. He has stated that a warmer climate is in his future. We wish Carl all of the best in his endeavors.
