No Pan Intended to again stand in Ontario

Pepper Pike, OH — Bob Glazer of Peter Pan Stables, Inc. and David Heffering of Tara Hills Stud, Ltd. have announced the return of No Pan Intended to Ontario for the 2009 breeding season.

The Triple Crown-winning, 2003 Horse of The Year currently sits second in North America and first in Canada in average earnings per foal for 2-year-olds.

On behalf of Peter Pan Stables, Bob Glazer stated, “David and I have had ongoing discussions about returning No Pan Intended to Ontario for some time now. The stallion had considerable success last year in 2007 with his first crop progeny having earnings which placed him second in the Ontario Sires Stakes program. However, this year has seen his sons and daughters explode on the scene, stamping No Pan Intended as the leading sire of 2-year-olds on the OSS circuit and second overall.

“Tara Hills has made both a tremendous commitment to and an impact on the Ontario program. We’ve entered into a long-term agreement which will ensure that No Pan Intended helps carry on with that tradition of excellence.”

David Heffering added that “No Pan Intended’s foals really caught my eye last year, but this year has everybody noticing. No Pan Intended is a tremendous addition to the Tara Hills stallion roster and Ontario racing.”
