Grove City, OH – The driver-trainer team of Dan Noble and Anette Lorentzon won four of the five $20,000 divisions in the third leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for freshman filly trotters at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Tuesday (Aug. 12).

Joyofmylife As headlined those victories, winning the fourth division in a lifetime-best 1:55.1, and is a perfect three-for-three in the BSS this season.
The Guardian Angel As filly was fourth as Two By Four (Trevor Smith) led the field past the first two calls in :28 and :57.2. Joyofmylife As moved first over at the halfway mark and was in third place as Two By Four continued to lead past the three-quarter mark in 1:26.3.
She proceeded to take the lead and pulled away to win by almost three lengths. Seven Lick Range (Kurt Sugg) was second followed by Faster Horses (Aaron Merriman) in third. Joyofmylife As is owned by ACL Stuteri AB and Kjell Johansson.
Noble also drove Lorentzon-trained Guardian Angel As fillies Chasingstardust As and Mockingbird As to victory.
Chasingstardust As won the fifth division in wire-to-wire fashion in 1:58.3 for her second BSS victory, joining her first-leg win in a lifetime-best 1:57.4. She posted fractions of :29.1, 1:00.1, and 1:29.4 and won by a length over Guardian Doll (Ronnie Gillespie) with Seeyouatthelake (Chris Page) in third. Chasingstardust As, who was a runner-up in the second leg, is owned by ACL Stuteri AB.
Mockingbird As won the first division by more than two lengths in 1:55.4, scoring her first BSS victory after finishing second to Judy’s Moni in each of the first two legs. Judy’s Moni (Anthony MacDonald) was second followed by Lacy Lucy (Luke Hanners) in third.
Lacy Lucy led the field past the first three calls with fractions of :27.1, :57.3, and 1:25.4. Mockingbird As moved first over from third place going to the half and eventually took over the lead and pulled away down the stretch. She is owned by Lorentzon.
Noble and Lorentzon scored their fourth win with Wild As Her As. The Enterprise filly won the third division in 1:57.4 for her first career victory in three starts. Fifth at the halfway mark, Wild As Her As moved first over and shot to the front entering the final turn en route to winning by one and a half lengths. Rg’s Rhapsody (Brett Miller) was second with Rose Run Bridget (Tyler Smith) in third. Wild As Her As is owned by ACL Stuteri AB.
With 29-1 odds, Readi Two scored an upset victory in the second division, winning by a length in a lifetime-best 1:58 with trainer Sandy Beatty in the sulky. Hangtighthoney L (Hank LeVan), a winner in each of the first two legs, was second followed by second-leg winner Triumphant Times (Sugg) in third.
Til The End As (Noble) led through the first three calls with fractions of :28.3, :59.2, and 1:29. Readi Two was eighth in the nine-horse field at the halfway mark and fourth entering the final stretch before rallying on the outside for the victory. Readi Two has hit the board in all four seasonal starts with three wins and one second. The Readi for Moni filly is owned by Robert Sharrits.
The 2025 Buckeye Stallion Series for freshman filly trotters continues with the fourth leg on Aug. 24 at MGM Northfield Park.
