Northfield Food and Beverage Manager Peggy Hurd, Brock Milstein, Mayor Milani, Bill Seese and Northfield Publicity Director Keith Gisser cut the ribbon to open the RaceBook.

The renovated area, part of a $600,000 facelift to the facility, features over 300 flat screen television monitors, redesigned carrels (private work stations), expanded concession area and a new customer service area for program sales, Players Club information and Betharness.com transactions.

Customers were greeted with food and beverage specials and dozens of prize drawings throughout the aftrenoon.

The RaceBook is open 364 days a year, hosting simulcast wagering from up to 30 tracks a day and “reconfirms our commitment to a first-class wagering experience for our customers,” according to Milstein.
