Nuncio, driven by Stefan Melander, won at Solvalla Wednesday (April 27) night in 1.52.2f, the fastest time in Europe so far.

Nuncio was early in command, followed by Food Money and driver Jennifer Tillman.

Down the stretch Tillman made her move, but despite Nuncio drifting to the outside and Melander having to correct him, Nuncio won by half-a-length.

“He wasn’t tired and I could have asked him to go faster,” Melander said after the race.

As for the upcoming Elitlopp, Melander said, “I don’t want any other horse.”
