Nichols, NY — Tioga Downs will offer a matinee live racing card on the Memorial Day holiday, Monday, May 30 with a post time of 1:30 PM.

Included on the condition sheet for that day are a battery of unofficial “Preps” for New York bred 3-year-olds of each sex and gait. These races are designed to insure the sires stake horses a start against other sophomores heading into the first leg of the program.

The “Preps” require entrants to be NYSS eligible and do not count toward the point total kept for the NYSS Finals. The purse for each is $10,000.

Entries are due for the May 30 Tioga card by 9 AM on Friday, May 27.
