SRF golf outing auction open to all

from Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Hamilton, NJ — The Standardbred Retirement Foundation’s (SRF) 19th annual charity golf outing is a sell-out once again. The popular event slated for Tuesday, May 31 at Knob Hill in Manalapan, NJ has its auction of fabulous items open to all, even those who can’t get to the event.

With twenty-six sponsors for the event, and forty-two donated items to bid on, SRF has bidding available on a few of its high end items such as a UFO Sulky, Pennsbury Jog Cart, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber, (4) AT&T National Clubhouse Tickets, and Elite Harness Racing Wheels. To view the full list and item details go to SRF’s website at www.adoptahorse.org, and click on the golf announcement.

This very important event for SRF helps raise much needed funds to support their 175 Standardbreds they are caring for. One hundred and two have had adoptive homes and for many different reasons their adopters could no longer provide good care. Back in the safe hands of SRF, all are now aged, or have racing injuries that have progressed which make them unattractive to adopters. The other 73 are being re-trained to the saddle while awaiting a home. Funds raised from the golfing event help provide for the full care of these former racing athletes.

For more information on bidding go to www.adoptahorse.org, or contact Dana Letual at 732-915-4544, or email admin@srfmail.com.
