Berlin, MD — Ocean Downs’ announces two major changes to their race programs for Sunday(June 22) and Monday (June 23).
“Due to the oppressive heat in the mid-Atlantic region, we are moving post time back tonight, Sunday, June 22, 2025, to 7:30 pm”, said Ocean Downs Director of Racing Peter Szymanski.
“The Lasix vets and technicians have been apprised and will move back their schedule slightly. We are asking the horsemen to change their schedules accordingly”.
“Also, with the heat index and humidity to intensify over the next few days, we are canceling the race program for Monday (June 23)”, said Szymanski. “A decision on Wednesday’s live racing program and qualifiers will be made within the next 48 hours.”
