Berlin, MD — The management of Ocean Downs, after multiple phone calls with the state veterinarians, the sire stakes office and the horsemen’s organization, made the decision to cancel the Wednesday (July 20) card in the best interest of everyone involved, horses and human.

All 3-year-old Maryland Sire Stake finals that were scheduled for Wednesday will be raced as drawn next Wednesday (July 27).

A decision about the Thursday (July 21) card will be made by noon on Wednesday. A decision about the Sunday (July 24) card will be made on Saturday.
