“Trainers Barry Kingston and Billy Long were the first ones up in the inaugural training session held at the track yesterday,” said Director of Racing Peter Szymanski. ”We will be holding training every Wednesday throughout the meet as local trainers ready their stable for the racing scene.”

Ocean Downs starts its meet on Sunday (May 28), continuing through Wednesday (Sept. 6). The 48-day meet has nightly post time of 7:05 p.m., and is highlighted by the new and improved MD Sires Stakes and MD Race Fund Stakes programs.

Racing applications are available at the track’s website, www.oceandowns.com, or by emailing the request to peter.szymanski@oceandowns.com.
