OHHA to hold meetings Wednesday and Thursday on Fair racing program

from the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association

Columbus, OH — This week the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association will be holding their second and third of five regional meetings to discuss the Ohio fair racing program and other current issues within the Ohio racing industry.

On Wednesday evening, March 18, the meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds in Zanesville, Ohio. The next opportunity will be on Thursday, March 19, at the Allen County Fairgrounds in Lima, also at 7:00 p.m.

All horsemen are strongly encouraged to attend each event and fair board members are welcome as well. The attendance from the meeting last week in Delaware was strong and we anticipate a great turn out in both Zanesville and Lima.

Moving to the North, March 26 will be the next opportunity to discuss the issues and speak with your OHHA representatives. The meeting in Cleveland will be held at the Northfield Park Track kitchen and will take place at 7:00 p.m.

The final regional meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m. on March 31 at Lebanon Raceway in the Racing Secretary’s Office.
