Grove City, OH — The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association will host Charity Night on Sunday (April 27) at Miami Valley Gaming.
Ten charities will participate in the event, each paired with a horse during the 10th race. The charity paired with the first-place finisher will receive $10,000, the second-place charity will receive $5,000, while third-place will receive $3,000. All other charities will receive a $2,000 donation from the OHHA for participating.
The charities will find out which horse they will be cheering for during a livestream on the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Facebook page on Friday (April 25) at 11 a.m.
The participating local charities are Critters & Cruisers, Fisher-Nightingale Houses, Folds of Honor Foundation, GiGi’s Playhouse Cincinnati, Hospice Care of Middletown, Lebanon Food Pantry, Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Safe Haven Farms, Threads of Miami Valley, and WHIIMS.
