OHHA to stream Dayton Charity Night draw

Dayton, OH — The final of four Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association charity nights across the state is scheduled for Saturday (Oct. 7) at Hollywood Dayton Raceway.

Ten charities will participate in the event, each paired with a horse during the eighth race. Each charity will receive a donation from the OHHA for participating. The charity paired with the winning horse will receive $10,000, second place will receive $5,000, and third place $3,000. All other finishers receive $2,000 donations.

The participating charities will find out which horse they will be cheering for during a live stream on the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Facebook page on Thursday (Oct. 5) at 1 p.m.

The participating charities are 4 Paws for Ability, Fisher/Nightingale Houses, Inc., Honor Flight Dayton, Peace and Tranquility Lake Corp., Pink Ribbon Good, Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton, Shoes 4 the Shoeless, Toys for Tots/United States Marine Corps, United Rehabilitation Services, and With God’s Grace.
