Delaware, OH — Sunday (Sept. 17) at the Delaware County Fair brought new lifetime marks for several horses as the weather and track was perfect for the 12-race program.
Rei’s Honor Roll and Chris Page would notch a victory in 1:58.1h in the $4,167 OFRC first division for 2-year-old pacing fillies over Sandy Sue (Cameron McCown) and Dan Noble aboard Catalinacruiser.
Dan Noble would send Stephen Sexton’s Dragon Damsel to a fine time of 1:56.2h in the $4,167 OFRC second division as the 2-year-old filly by Dragon Again clipped off a last quarter of :28.1 to overpower Eden’s Lucky Charm and Chris Page as they both drew off from the rest of the field.
Bobby One Mile and Mike Wilder would make it a new mile mark of 2:00.2h in the $3,667 OFRC second division for 3-year-old colt trotters as the Tye Loy-trainee outstepped Charleston Hall (Jason Thompson) for owner Richard Paltani.
And Ronnie Wrenn Jr. showed us why he’s near the top of the point leaders when he hopped into the sulky seat and sent the Al Tomlinson co-owned (with Marshall Klein) and trained Flight Of An Eagle to a new lifetime tab of 1:58.2h as the 2-year-old filly by Feelin Friskie won her $4,167 OFRC division by 10 open lengths over May West (Don Harmon) and Rockin Sue (Tye Loy) and the other talented youngsters.

Instructor and Bye Hanover cruised to victory in the $41,600 Standardbred pace for freshman colts in Sunday’s (Sept. 17) Grand Circuit action at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
