Grove City, OH — The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association (OHHA) has announced the return of the Ohio Harness Racing Fantasy League for its ninth season in 2025. This competition invites fans to create their own “fantasy stable” and follow the real-life success of Ohio’s Standardbred racehorses.
Each participant will build a fantasy roster of six horses: four horses of any age selected from a predetermined list supplied by the OHHA, and two Ohio-sired 2-year-olds of the participant’s choice. Fantasy stables will earn points based on actual purse earnings from May 16-Oct. 25, culminating on Breeders Crown Day.
The grand prize for the top-earning stable is $2,000, with cash prizes awarded down to fifth place. Bonus prizes will be given for the stable whose Ohio-sired 2-year-olds earn the most money and the stable with the best “return on investment.”
Entries must be received by May 15, 2025. Rules, entry forms, and horse lists are on the OHHA website. Completed forms may be emailed to kpoma@ohha.com or faxed to 614.221.8726.
Participation is free and open to any individual who has not owned a Standardbred that has raced in the past two years. Fractional ownership of less than 5% does not disqualify participation.
