Monticello, NY — According to director of racing Eric Warner, Monticello Raceway will be holding one qualifying race on Wednesday (Sept. 11) for anyone that needs to qualify their 3-year-old trotting colt for the New York Sire Stakes or the Excelsior draw here on Thursday morning (Sept. 12).

The entry box for that qualifier closes at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

“We will have qualifiers on Thursday (Sept 12) at 10 a.m. for all other horses. That box closes at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday,” Warner said.
