Burke Racing, Knox Services, Phillip Collura and Weaver Bruscemi’s Watch Em Win ($2.10, Tim Tetrick) was a menacing landslide winner in the fastest division (1:53.1). The Ron Burke-trainee notched his fifth win in seven career starts. A He’s Watching colt, he was an open length winner over He’s Webster and Kd’s Song.

Younger horses on their way to bigger purses (and tougher competition) met for $15,500 in a pair of features on Monday afternoon (Oct. 6) at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania. One of the headliners was a pace for distaffs, the other a trot.

The $2.4 million Massachusetts Breeders Stakes were back at it on Monday (Oct. 6) at Plainridge Park with seven events featuring 2-year-old trotters and pacers in competition.

On what was a beautiful night for harness racing in northeast Ohio, MGM Northfield Park played host to eight $25,000 Buckeye Stallion Series Consolations on Sunday (Oct. 5). Reinsmen Dan Noble and Chris Page together put on a driving clinic, with all but one Buckeye Stallion Series consolations going to the pair.
