Horseplayers will be treated to a steady dose of full fields and a refreshed wagering menu — including a pair of low-takeout Pick-4s nightly — when harness racing returns to Rosecroft Raceway on Monday (Jan. 19).
Top contender Jushua Tree out of Prix d’Amérique
French horse Jushua Tree, who was one of the favorites for the Prix d’Amérique this Sunday (Jan. 25) at Vincennes, will not race due to an injury.
Better Is Nice takes Miami Valley Open

Iguski Sautonne triumphs in the Prix de Cornulier
In just his second start in an under-saddle race, the 8-year-old stallion Iguski Sautonne delivered an impressive performance as Alexandre Abrivard rode him to victory in the Prix de Cornulier at Vincennes Sunday afternoon (Jan. 18).
Jayland Trotting Association auction slated for Feb. 7
The Jayland Trotting Association has scheduled a public auction for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 in Bubp Hall at the Jay County Fairgrounds in Portland, IN with all proceeds to be used for the maintenance of their harness racing track

Pennsylvania fair champions honored Saturday
Pennsylvania’s fair horsepeople came together Saturday evening (Jan. 17) at the Nittany Lion Inn for the annual Pennsylvania Fair Awards Dinner, held in conjunction with meetings of the U.S. Trotting Association and the Pennsylvania Fair Harness Horsemen’s Association.
USTA District 7, PA fair horsemen meet
District 7 (Pennsylvania) of the United States Trotting Association met on Saturday (Jan. 17) at the Nittany Lion Inn.
