South Beach Star was undoubtedly helped by first turn confusion while winning the $15,000 featured fast-class handicap pace in 1:48.4 Sunday afternoon (July 28) at Harrah’s Philadelphia, but after making the lead with relative ease then storming home in :53.2, no one may have been able to catch him anyway.
