Willard (Bill) Miller, 83, passed away at home on December 5, 2025. Bill lived a full life marked by love, honesty, hard work, passion, and steadfast beliefs.
Take It Easy narrowly scores in DSBF filly final
Following a pair of second-place finishes to Kat’s Fancy in preliminary action, Take It Easy took full advantage of a pocket trip and lifted late to get the last word in the final yards of the $110,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund (DSBF) series championship for 3-year-old trotting fillies on Monday (Dec. 15) at Bally’s Dover.
Friday’s MGM Grand Prix Series finals set
Post positions were drawn for the $250,000 finals of the MGM Grand Prix Trotting and Pacing Series finals, which will take place on Friday (Dec. 19) at MGM Yonkers Raceway over the distance of a mile and a quarter. The closing program of the meet, the action will get underway with an early post time of 2:15 p.m. Part of Friday’s program, including the two series finals,will be nationally-televised during Fox Sports 2’s America’s Day at the Races broadcast.
