Meadowlands monthly handicapping contest 2026 schedule

The Meadowlands Racetrack is bringing back the popular monthly handicapping contests in 2026. The top two finishers in each contest qualify for the invite-only $10,000 tournament in December.

Miami Valley cancels Tuesday racing

With the track continuing its rapid & unexpected January thaw, racing has been canceled for Tuesday (Jan. 6). Miami Valley hopes to return to racing on Wednesday (Jan 7). Tomorrow’s draw (for Sunday) will be done remotely, please enter online. Thursday’s (Jan. 8) driver changes will be done on thier normal schedule, which is 12:30-2 p.m., on Tuesday.

Meadowlands 2026 Early Closer Participation payment

For the upcoming season, The Meadowlands will institute an Early Closer Participation (ECP) payment on foals of 2024 which will be required to be made to The Meadowlands to gain eligibility for nomination to all Meadowlands 2-year-old Early Closers in 2026.
