Pamela Thompson Memorial race on May 15 at Northfield

Northfield, OH — Pamela Thompson, who was in the business as a groom, trainer and owner in Ohio for around 40 years, died this past February. This Saturday (May 15), the sixth race at Northfield Park is the Pamela Thompson Birthday Memorial race.

If you are in the Northfield area and can take a few minutes out of your day to be there in the winner’s circle that would be great. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.

Pamela Thompson, 57, died Feb. 25, 2021, with family by her side.

She was a dear sister of Belinda Hershey, Greg (Carol), Robby (Helen), and James (Marsha); daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy; loving aunt of David Armold (Kayla) and Brandon Armold; and considered mother of Emily Woodin.
