Madison, WI – The Wisconsin Harness Horse Association is proud to announce its third and final Hall of Fame inductee for the Class of 2025. Patient Dream, owned in Wisconsin by Glen & Ardis Redeker and most recently by Steve Searle & Flacco Family Farms, LLC of Illinois, will be inducted at the Jan. 24th event in Madison, Wis.

Patient Dream was bred by Ralph Heinle of Boscobel, WI. From 1996 to 2002, she raced for Glen Redeker of Brandon, WI. Later, in 2010, Patient Dream was purchased by Steve Searle of Grant Park, IL, and Flacco Family Farms of Alexis, IL. It could be argued that Patient Dream’s most significant accomplishments were as a broodmare.
Glen Redeker raced Patient Dream at county fairs throughout Wisconsin. She was a Top Ten Trotter in 1997, 1998, and 1999. As a racehorse, Patient Dream made 115 starts, with 23 wins, 20 seconds, and 13 thirds, earning $70,362. At eight years of age, she took her lifetime mark of 1:58.2 on a mile track.
As a broodmare, Patient Dream had nine registered foals, eight of which were starters. As of October 1, 2025, her offspring had amassed earnings of $792,211. Patient Dream was first bred in 2003 and last bred in 2019. One of her foals, Steamin’ Rosie, was a Wisconsin Top Ten Trotter herself.
Her top three foals by money earnings: Ants Iner Pants (Steve Searle), 1:55.1, $300,706; Patient I D, 1:56.2, $160,550; Bands Houdini, 1:53.3, $231,249.
Additionally, Ants Iner Pants is the dam of Lou’s My Number, currently racing for Steve Searle. Lou’s My Number, a.k.a. Lucy, has a mark of 1:54.1 and earnings of $261,893. She was profiled in the May 2025 issue of Hoof Beats.
