Yonkers, NY — Illusion Seelster tallied at 67-1 in race 6 and The Ideal Dancer A prevailed at 24-1 in race 7 on Tuesday (Jan. 27) at MGM Yonkers Raceway, and those upsets were the catalyst to the Pick-5 wager not being hit. As a result, Wednesday’s (Jan. 28) program will include a $7,112.22 carryover and a $20,000 guaranteed pool in the sequence.
The guarantee in the Pick-5 is being offered as part of the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick-5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available at handicapping.ustrotting.com. The Pick-5, which begins in race 5 and has a $1 minimum, has a takeout rate of 20%.
