Yonkers, NY – A number of upsets, including a 71-1 surprise by Jakey Jumpup in race five, led to the Pick-5 not being hit on Saturday night (July 12) at MGM Yonkers Raceway. As a result, there will be a $3,265.37 carryover in the sequence when racing resumes on Monday (July 14). The pool will be guaranteed at $10,000.
The guarantee in the Pick-5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick-5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available at handicapping.ustrotting.com. The Pick-5, which begins in race five and has a $1 minimum and a takeout rate of 20 percent.
MGM Yonkers Raceway is now operating on a Monday/Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday live racing schedule with post time each night at 6:45 p.m. (EDT). Please note that the oval is open for a 10-race program this week on Wednesday (July 16).
