Port Perry, ON — Tara Hills Stud is pleased to announce the addition of trotter Pilgrims Taj to their stallion roster beginning with the 2011 season.

The son of Broadway Hall was the runner-up for the 2009 2-year-old colt Trotter of the Year in the United States. Pilgrims Taj had ten starts at two, winning seven times with three seconds, including the Breeders Crown elimination and final in which he beat Lucky Chucky. He also tied the track and stakes record of 1:55.2 for 2-year-olds on a five-eighths-mile track and had winnings of $737,484.

At three he won a Hambletonian elimination in 1:53.3, beating Muscle Massive, and PaSS divisions at Harrah’s Chester and The Meadows. Pilgrims Taj finished fourth in the Hambo final after being locked in for most of the mile, racing his own mile in 1:52.1.

The introductory price for 2011 will be C$5,000.
