Cal Expo racing analyst Gregg Pistochini offers his picks for the $10,000 Pick-4 at Cal Expo Raceway on May 26, part of the USTA Strategic Wagering program.

Every Thursday night through the end of the meeting, both Pick 4’s at Cal Expo offer a reduced 15 percent takeout rate, with the Late Pick 4 coming attached with a $10,000-guaranteed gross pool.

Analysis:

Gregg Pistochini has put together a $32 ticket for the Late Pick 4, which begins on the sixth race. In the opening leg he goes with a single in Sun On The Rocks (3), while in the seventh race he hits the all button and uses each of the eight of the pacing mares.

Gregg has gone with two horses in the eighth race, with King Carver (5) and Swing Vote (6) his choices. He finishes up the sequence by using Dancing Barry (2) and Achy Breaky Art (8) in the finale.
