Columbus, OH — The North Attleboro (MA) Sun Chronicle is reporting that Plainville residents on Tuesday approved a referendum that would allow slot machines at Plainridge Racecourse.
The referendum overwhelmingly passed by a 76-24 percent margin.
The Sun Chronicle also reported that potential developer Penn National Gaming has promised to pay $4 million a year to the town in taxes and fees.
